"Since 1979 Youen Jacob's Breton restaurant has been a major feature in Baltimore village, which resides in the heart of West Cork, Ireland. Although other eating places have sprung up around him, Youen is still doing what he does best: simple but dramatic presentation of seafood in the shell, Lobster is very much a specialty and available all year round.

The Shellfish Platter is a complete meal of Dublin Bay Prawns, Crab and often Velvet Crab as well as Lobster - all served in the shell.

Only minor concessions are made to non-fish eaters - starters of leek and potato soup at Lunch or melon with port on the dinner menu and correspondingly, roast lamb or steak with green peppercorn sauce for main course."
